An exchange program is a direct link between The University of Alabama and an overseas partner institution.  UA has many exchange programs that allow students to continue their academic courses while studying overseas.

These competitive programs are open to all qualified students who have studied on the UA campus for at least one semester. Students chosen as exchange participants pay regular UA tuition and spend one semester or year abroad. We hope that the following information will help you decide if an exchange program is for you.

Eligibility:
1. All qualified UA students, regardless of birthplace, are eligible
2. A student must hold a 3.0 GPA at the time of exchange 
3. Language requirements vary by program
